The Institute of International Trade and Security is an independent, non-partisan research institute and think-tank serving as a knowledge creation and dissemination grid on all issues related to international trade and security. It enhances, in the civil society, the understanding of multilateral trading systems, primarily the World Trade Organization (WTO) , analyses the issues and challenges arising from globalization with implications for global security.


       Institute also promotes the objectives of disarmament by conducting industry outreach programs to promote controlled trade in goods and services that have both civilian and military applications. It conducts programs with international collaboration with countries needing assistance in development of effective trade promotion policies that harmonize with need to promote global security. Promotion of trade in high technology goods and services to augment capacities of export oriented industries of countries with due regard to security implications inherent in such commerce is a focus area of our activities.
